Wireless@SG
Overview
Seamless and Secure Access allows you to automatically and securely connect to Wireless@SG when your Wi-Fi enabled devices are within range of a Wireless@SG hotspot.

SSA is recommended for mobile handheld device users when accessing Wireless@SG. It allows you to more easily access mobile services that require instant connection to the network, such as VoIP, instant messaging, real-time news feeds, etc.

Wireless@SG users can immediately enjoy this new feature at most of the Wireless@SG hotspots after performing a one-time step-up of your device.

How to Set Up Your Device for SSA

Option 1 - Wireless@SG Connect

Install the Wireless@SG Connect software to set up SSA on your device.

Supported Operating Systems
- iPhone
- Windows Mobile 6.1 and above
- Windows XP/Vista/7
- Mac OS 10.5 and above

Step 1

Please download the Wireless@SG Connect installer package from your operator:

Step 2

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. The installer will configure your device for SSA and also install the Wireless@SG Connect application which allows you to easily access services and applications from your operator.

Once installation is complete, go to a Wireless@SG hotspot and ensure that your devices Wi-Fi function is turned on. You may be prompted for authentication details. If so, enter your Wireless@SG username followed by @domain (e.g. userid@operator.com) and your Wireless@SG password. Note that you will only need to enter your credentials once for your device upon your first SSA connection. In the future, whenever you are in any SSA-enabled hotspot, your device will seamlessly and securely connect to Wireless@SG network without the need for you to re-login.

After a few seconds, you should be automatically connected to the "Wireless@SGx" SSID and you can begin surfing.

Once you are connected to the Internet, you can launch the Wireless@SG Connect application to access services and applications from your operator.
Option 2 Manual Configuration

You can also choose to set up your devices manually for SSA.

- Android 1.6 and above

Download the SSA Manual Configuration Guide from your operator:

Follow the step-by-step instructions to set up SSA on your devices. Go to a Wireless@SG hotspot and ensure that your devices Wi-Fi function is turned on. You may be prompted for your login details. If so, enter your Wireless@SG username followed by @domain (e.g. userid@operator.com) and your Wireless@SG password. Note that you will only need to enter your login information once for your device upon your first SSA connection. In the future, whenever you are in any SSA-enabled hotspot, your device will seamlessly and securely connect to Wireless@SG network without the need for you to re-login.

The Wireless@SG Connect is a software that allows you to set up your device for SSA and easily access a variety of Wireless@SG applications and services. With Wireless@SG Connect, you will be able to receive relevant information, find the nearest hotspots and be informed of the latest updates to Wireless@SG.
